Black Friday is here, and ahead of next year’s Super Mario Galaxy movie, Amazon’s WOOT outlet is offering a great opportunity to catch up on the iconic character’s out-of-this-world adventures.
The retailer is offering the Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 double pack on Switch and Switch 2 for $69, but today only, you can get 20% off by purchasing through the WOOT app.
This discount brings the bundle of two of the greatest 3D platformers ever made for $55.99, meaning each of them, at least in theory, will set you back $28 each.
It’s easy to save the money, too.
The same applies to the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Con 2 bundle, which has $10 off and then another $18 via the Woot app.
As for the games, there’s not a lot else we can say about each. Back in 2007, we awarded a 9.7 out of 10 for the first game, calling it “The pinnacle of three-dimensional run-and-jump gameplay.”
Fast-forward three years, and we awarded the sequel, Super Mario Galaxy 2, a 10 out of 10, going even further and saying “Mario Galaxy 2 is the pinnacle of Mario games: everything that makes them so incredibly fun is represented here.”
In short, this is a great bundle, especially if you’ve never played either game before. In fact, it’s a great chance to revisit them even if you have.
