PLOT

Enlist in the Helldivers and join the fight for freedom across a hostile galaxy in a fast, frantic, and ferocious third-person shooter. Watch each other's back and complete strategic missions as a squad of up to four Helldivers. Rain down freedom from above, sneak through enemy territory, or charge head-first into combat. Use a wide array of explosive firepower, life-saving armor, and battle-changing stratagems to defeat the alien threats. Capture enemy planets, defend against invasions, and contribute to the overall war effort. The fate of the galaxy depends on your actions.

GAMEPLAY

HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a third-person squad-based shooter. Players use a variety of weapons and stratagems to shoot and kill the alien threats. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses. The game features multiplayer and online co-op modes, allowing players to team up and complete missions together. It also offers in-app purchases and supports partial controller support.
